- I'm using a Supra 28.8 FaxModem external. The flash ROM is the latest
- version 1.300-13 (11/95). It almost always connects showing R34 (receive)
- at a speed of 28.8 and the T34 (transmit) at speeds of 21.6 or 24 or 26.6. Very occasionally both transmit and receive will display 26.6. Why are the
- asymetric connect speeds almost always tilted in the direction of a higher
- receive. I am connecting to an Internet provider using USR Couriers.
- Any ideas or explanations? Thanks in advance.
